This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.

Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps.

Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Information on the controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Controller

Rocket Abt Holding GmbH
Machandelweg 1a
29525 Uelzen
Germany
Represented by: Daniel Abt (managing director)
Email: info@automationsmanufaktur.de

The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others,

decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses or similar).

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy,

your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies.

If you assert a justified request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing,

your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law);

in the latter case, deletion takes place once these reasons no longer apply.

General information on the legal bases for data processing on this website

If you have consented to data processing,

we process your personal data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR,

if special categories of data under Art. 9(1) GDPR are processed.

In the case of express consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, data processing is also based on Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR.

If you have consented to the storage of cookies or to access to information on your device (e.g. via device fingerprinting),

data processing is additionally based on Section 25(1) TTDSG.

Consent can be revoked at any time.

If your data is required to fulfil a contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures,

we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Furthermore, we process your data if it is required to fulfil a legal obligation on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Data processing may also be based on our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The relevant legal bases in each individual case are explained in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.

Information on data transfer to the USA and other third countries

Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure under data protection law.

When these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there.

Please note that a level of data protection comparable to the EU cannot be guaranteed in these countries.

For example, US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities,

without you as the data subject being able to take legal action against this.

It therefore cannot be ruled out

that US authorities (e.g. intelligence services) process, evaluate and permanently store your data on US servers for surveillance purposes.

We have no influence on these processing activities.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time.

The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

Objection under Art. 21 GDPR

If data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR,

you have the right at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation,

to object to the processing of your personal data;

this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.

The legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy.

If you object,

we will no longer process your personal data concerned, unless

we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms,

or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR).

If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes,

you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing;

this also applies to profiling insofar as it is connected with such direct marketing.

If you object,

your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection under Art. 21(2) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority,

in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged violation.

The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

The supervisory authority responsible for us is:

Competent supervisory authority

Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen
Prinzenstraße 5
30159 Hannover
Email: poststelle@lfd.niedersachsen.de
Website: https://www.lfd.niedersachsen.de

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract

handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format.

If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place insofar as it is technically feasible.

Access, correction and deletion

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data,

its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data.

You can contact us at any time about this and any other questions on personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time about this.

The right to restriction of processing applies in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this.

For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

  • If the processing of your personal data was or is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims,

you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.

  • If you have lodged an objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR, your interests and ours must be weighed against each other.

As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail,

you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data,

this data may, apart from its storage, only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims

or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person

or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

Cookie settings

Our websites use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your device.

They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies).

Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.

Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or your web browser deletes them automatically.

Cookies can come from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies).

Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services of third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for handling payment services).

Cookies have various functions.

Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos).

Other cookies can be used to evaluate user behaviour or for advertising purposes.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function)

or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies)

are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is stated.

The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services.

If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested,

processing takes place exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG);

consent can be revoked at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases,

exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser.

If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website,

for which the server log files must be recorded.

Storage period: The server log files are stored for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form,

your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided there,

will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.

We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR,

if your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is required to carry out pre-contractual measures.

In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries sent to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested;

consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it,

revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed).

Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.

Application form

If you send us your application via our application form,

your details from the application form, including the contact details you provided there,

will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the application and in case of questions.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (carrying out pre-contractual measures)

and Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG (establishing an employment relationship).

Your applicant data will be deleted after the application process has been completed, unless there is another legal basis for further storage.

In the event of a rejection, your data will be deleted no later than 6 months after notification of the rejection,

unless you have consented to longer storage for the purpose of later contact.

5. Analytics tools and advertising

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors.

The website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, length of stay, operating systems used and the origin of the user.

This data is assigned to the respective device of the user. It is not assigned to a user ID.

Furthermore, we can use Google Analytics to record, among other things, your mouse and scroll movements and clicks.

Google Analytics also uses various modelling approaches to supplement the collected data sets and uses machine learning technologies in data analysis.

Google Analytics uses technologies that make it possible to recognise the user for the purpose of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting).

The information collected by Google about the use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

This service is used on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

The data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/

Browser plugin

You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your data

by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in the Google privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

Data processing agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google

and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

6. Plugins and tools

Google Fonts (local hosting)

For the uniform display of fonts, this site uses so-called Google Fonts provided by Google. The Google Fonts are installed locally.

No connection to Google servers takes place.

Further information on Google Fonts can be found at: https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in the Google privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de

7. Your rights at a glance

You have the following rights:

8. Direct marketing by post and phone to business contacts

We introduce our services by letter and by phone to companies that our services could suit. For this purpose we process personal data of contact persons in these companies. We do not collect this data from the contact persons themselves. This section therefore provides the information required under Art. 14 GDPR. The controller is Rocket Abt Holding GmbH (brand: AutomationsManufaktur), Machandelweg 1a, 29525 Uelzen, Germany, email: info@automationsmanufaktur.de.

Your right to object to direct marketing (Art. 21(2) GDPR)

You can object to the use of your data for direct marketing at any time. No reason is required. After your objection we no longer use your data for marketing, including any profiling related to marketing.

To object, write to Rocket Abt Holding GmbH, Machandelweg 1a, 29525 Uelzen, Germany, or send an email to info@automationsmanufaktur.de. Please state your name and your company so that we can find the right record.

Where the data comes from

We collect the data from publicly available sources. These are mainly the legal notice and the contact or team pages of your company website and the business profile of your company on Google Maps. In addition we use public registers such as the commercial register and the Federal Gazette (Bundesanzeiger) as well as business directories.

Which data we process

  • name and position of the contact person in the company
  • company, business address and website
  • the business phone number, usually that of the switchboard, and a business email address if it is publicly listed or you give it to us
  • information about the company such as industry, location and approximate size
  • date and outcome of our letters and calls, notes on the conversation, your response and any appointment agreed

Purpose and legal basis

We use the data to introduce our services to you and to arrange an appointment for a conversation. If an appointment is made, we also use the data to prepare and hold the conversation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to introduce our services to companies. Recital 47 GDPR expressly recognises direct marketing as a possible case of legitimate interest. We only approach companies whose industry and size suit our services, and we only call business numbers.

We use industry, size and region to decide which companies we approach first. No automated individual decision within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

Recipients

Your data is received by:

  • an external service provider that arranges appointments by phone on our behalf
  • a printing and mailing service provider that prints and sends our letters
  • technical service providers that operate servers, network, email delivery, appointment calendars and video conferencing for us

All of these service providers act for us as processors under Art. 28 GDPR. They are contractually bound by our instructions and may not use the data for any other purpose. Some of them are based in the USA. Where data is transferred to a country outside the EU and the EEA, we base the transfer on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the one on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on standard contractual clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. You can obtain a copy of the standard contractual clauses from us on request.

Storage period

If you do not respond to our approach, we delete your data no later than twelve months after our first letter or call. Further letters or calls during this period do not extend this period.

If you ask us to get back to you at a later date, we store your data until that date.

If you arrange an appointment with us or engage us, we store your data for as long as we need it for the conversation and the collaboration. After that we only keep it where statutory retention obligations apply.

If you object, we no longer use your data for marketing and delete it. We only keep a blocking note with company, name, address or phone number and the date of your objection. This ensures that we do not approach you again, even if your company appears in our research again later. We keep the blocking note for as long as we carry out direct marketing by post or phone. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 17(3)(b) and Art. 21(3) GDPR.

If you want the blocking note to be deleted as well, we delete it. In that case, however, we cannot rule out that we approach you again at a later date.

Your other rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). Details are given in section 3.
